Gae Shulman, President, has over 20 years experience in Human Resources Management, Recruitment, and Employee Development. She is bilingual and is an expert on cultural diversity in the workplace.
Ms. Shulman is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, with an M.A. in Counseling from New York University. Gae has held senior Human Resources positions in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, construction and retailing industries and assisted numerous Bay Area businesses from one-person offices to multi-national companies.

She is a Certified Career Counselor (#16385) and has taught at UC Berkeley, San Jose State, Cal State Hayward, and St Mary's College. An accomplished presenter, she speaks frequently on timely issues such as hiring and termination protocols, employee satisfaction, and performance management.

Ms. Shulman is Head Coach of YourJobCoach.com , which counsels job seekers, the employed, and companies on career development, providing pragmatic, focused strategies and advice on job satisfaction, employment options and life/work balance.

Mel Shulman, Consultant, has had a three decade career in corporate human resources and executive search. 

He practiced labor law with Whitman, Ransom and Coulson and was Director of Labor Relations with NBC.  Mr. Shulman headed the HR function for Fiberboard and Itel, was a Managing Director of Ward Howell International and Principal of Shulman and Cameron, an executive search firm he founded.  The firm focused on recruitment and organizational development for high-tech, health care and financial services and organizations in the Bay Area. 

Most recently, Mr. Shulman has done executive coaching, outplacement, and provided expert witness testimony on labor management issues.  

Mr. Shulman has been a member of the Advisory Board of Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business Administration and is a frequent lecturer on organizational development at the University of California, Berkeley and other higher-education institutions.

Mr. Shulman’s career involvements make him uniquely qualified to provide human resource services that are litigation adverse and tailored to a company’s immediate needs and objectives while providing a solid foundation for future development.
